Hanson Design was founded by Laurel Hanson in 2020.
After receiving a Master’s Degree in Communication Design and Computer Graphics from Pratt Institute in New York City, Laurel has spent her career working for some of the nation’s top Brand Strategy agencies in New York City and Chicago. She finished her agency career with 10 years as Managing Creative Director for Bluedog Design in Chicago, IL.
Spanning her 20+ years of experience building multinational, small local and non-profit brands, Laurel’s guiding principle has always been:
even the most beautiful design work only has value
if it helps clients solve their business challenges.
With a strong balance of passion and intentionality, Hanson Design brings the lenses of business, brand and strategy together to help drive creative expression for ease in decision-making to unlock growth for clients.
